Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the BooM BoT Discord application ("the bot"). By inviting the bot to a Discord server or interacting with it, you agree to them.

The service

BooM BoT provides Clash of Clans clan-management tooling inside Discord: roster building and publishing, CWL signups, account linking, player history and vetting, and player flags. The bot is provided free of charge.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the bot to harass, defame, or target individuals — including through the flag system, which exists to record clan-management facts, not to run campaigns against players;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the bot or its infrastructure;
  • use the bot in violation of Discord's Terms of Service or Supercell's Terms of Service;
  • automate interactions with the bot.

Server administrators are responsible for how the bot is used in their server, including the content of flags, notes, and announcements their leaders create.

Data

Operating the bot involves storing data about Discord servers, users, and Clash of Clans accounts. What is stored, why, and for how long is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

Availability and warranty

The bot is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data durability, or that features will remain unchanged. We may modify or discontinue the bot, in whole or in part, at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of BooM BoT are not liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the bot — including lost data, missed wars, or roster mishaps.

Termination

We may remove the bot from any server or restrict any user's access at our discretion, particularly for violations of these terms. Server administrators can end the relationship at any time by removing the bot; associated server data can be deleted on request as described in the Privacy Policy.

Third parties

BooM BoT uses the official Clash of Clans API. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or specifically approved by Supercell, and Supercell is not responsible for it. See Supercell's Fan Content Policy. Clash of Clans is a trademark of Supercell Oy. Planned integrations with third-party data services (such as ClashKing) are governed by those services' own terms.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current revision; continued use of the bot after a change constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced in the support server.
